What killed my Emerald Crab?

Falco Hawk
Sixline Wrasse
Pep Shrimp
Skunk Shrimp

I've lost 2 within the last month. The only thing that has changed since they were killed was the addition of a Pepermint Shrimp.

no peppermint shrimp is going to take out an emerald crab.

TBH, emerald crabs are evil. You don't want 'em. I've caught emerald crabs eating SPS. Those suckers went byebye FAST after that.

I've also lost 2 emeralds in the past month or so from my display tank. Lost 2 in my fuge before that.

There is absolutely nothing in my fuge that could take them out. I figure they either did eachother in, or ran out of food supply.

The two in my display were either taken out by my pistol (half their size), or again, lack of food supply.

I was feeding my tank everyday, so I'm not sure how they would have starved.

Still a mystery to me, so you're not alone. It sucks, but c'est la vie.

Dave

I tempted to move the Peppermint Shrimp to the fuge just in case he is the killer. The only other invert I care about that I have is the Skunk Shrimp and I don't want to lose him.

I guess its possible the Hawkfish turned murderous though..
