Bicolored Blennies?
anyone have any? what do you think of them? i seem to find mixed opinnions about them being: a) reef safe b) invertebrate safe any opinnions would be appreciated. ps- i had a lawnmower...i had many lawnmowers and none nipped at corals or shrimp...this guy seems to be a lawnmower in a prettier skin...hope im not stupid for thinking this but from that i would expect them to behave somewhat the same

I have also read mixed reviews but my experience with Bi-color blennies have alway been good. I have had one right now in my tank (9 months) and it has not bothered fish or corals.

The one in the pic looks more like a goby than a blennie.

not reef safe with sps. pretty much like all blennies there's the possibility of a little tude towards fish/inverts they dont take a liking to. problem is you never know what that will be until its already happening. I've found larger real estate is most helpful with that aspect. they behave much better in a 125g than the nano's they are usually kept in.

Mine hasn't been a problem with corals or inverts so far.

I had one for a few years. It was a model citizen.

I had one for a long time and he also was a good reef inhabitant. No trouble at all. He was super cute with tons of personality.
