When To Frag SPS?
I read at www.garf.org/1/spsmoved.shtml thats for faster growth its better to trim small colonys early to promote growth of lower branches. So it got me wondering. Are some of my frags ready to cut? Here are some pics, lemme know what you think.

if you can get a cut ot at least 1'' you can go for it ..........when working in my tank i always brake corals some pieces that are very small just dont survive but most do.........

My experience has been you're better off getting them in the right water flow and light if you want them to grow faster. I think fragging them changes one, if not both of those things, thus making them grow faster. Determine the coral's needs and frag accordingly for best growth. Check with who you bought the coral from and see where they had the best results. If you don't have that information, experiment with the frags you make.

ill probably wait until i can get a good 1" cut on all of them. It just makes sense for most to grow faster when cut so i was thinking maybe im messing up by not cutting them.
