20in nova extreme pro T5 light- any reviews here on RC?
Have you used the Current USA Nova Extreme T5 setups? i am interested in getting the 20' model for my tank. I currently Run 150w MH but am interested in going this route. Does anyone have any recomendations? I am running it over my 18'w nano cube.
The setup is 108w of high output T5 lighting. would this be equivalent to my MH output? Is it that useful to have dusk/Dawn setup on the tank? Do they make the Deep purple bulbs for this fixture? Thanks for any reviews or imput on these fixtures and bulbs. Happy? Sad? Tell me your experience Thanks |

If you search through the nano forum you will find a review on the 20" Nova Extreme Pro.

ps
current-usa is the only source that I can find that makes 18w 18" t5 bulbs. They only make 3 bulbs, in simple terms: blue white yellow |

looking for bulbs now to replace the stock ones, but coming up empty so far. that sucks if only current is making the 18w bulbs for this model. I do like it for what it's worth. I've taken out 2 of the 3 daylights because I think it's too bright for my corals. I will try to reintroduce the bulbs one at a time after the corals get used to the lighting.
