HELP my LTA puking??? tank is white

I just went in my room to find this, completely white tank. I thought it was ATO w/ Kalk first off but its the giant LTA. Cleaner shrimp are going nuts around it, the sps's polyps are still out. I have a reeflo orca 250 skimmer which is wayyyyy over rated for this tank and I just turned on and it is going nuts in 30 seconds flat. I'm running to meijers right now to grab more carbon and making a water change as we speak. Should I be worried?? PS this is a 135 with about 40g water in the sump

** I'll post pics when I get back photobucket is taking forever**

That's very odd, almost seems like it's trying to spawn, but maybe that's just me. Jumping aboard here to see if anyone knows what's going on.

I've had it for going on 5 years now and never had it do anything like this, it just keeps doing it. I'm thinking of pulling it out and putting it into my FOWLR, lots less to loose in that tank

While I never had an LTA do that, my Haddoni did it about 2 months ago. I would suggest changing your carbon, running your skimmer a bit wetter, and do a semi-large water change --- 20-25%.

My Haddoni spawned for about 45 minutes, and while the tank was cloudy, didn't have any long term issues. Pulling it now isn't a good idea. I really wouldn't be too concerned.

This is what my Haddoni looked like.

FTS, spawning one is on the left.

I would just skim heavily and prepare a water change. I think removing him will cause more trouble than it's worth.

It definitely looks like a spawning event.

I would agree with it being a spawning event. Don't move it as that'll just stress the anemone and cause other problems. Rather, think of it as live food for your coals and inverts.

Here's a pic of my flower anemone spawning,

I have a sebae, which is what yours looks like to me, for about 5 yrs too and mine recently...maybe 3 months ago, did the same thing. It clouded up the tank and my skimmer went nuts, but no affects on any fish or coral. It hasn't done it since.

i would agree it's either pooping or spawning everything would more then likely be dead or dieing if it were sick or dieing
