Help!!!!!
Afternoon all,
So im looking at purchasing a lido 120 and fitting a sump underneath. Am in the process of getting a shopping list together and planning what i need/need to do when i have became stuck in regards to the plumbing on the sump. I am planning on putting in a tunez overflow and drilling the tank http://www.tunze.com/details.html?&L..._tunzeprod_pi1[prodid]=1076/2 but am not 100% sure on where im going to need to dril. I was thinking of placing the overflow in the centre of the tank up the top, and the return hose being split to the left and right side of the tank. So im looking at drilling 3 holes in the tank? 2 for the return and 1 for the overflow? Cheers for the help guys. |

2 overflows would be a better choice just to maintain redundancy. If one clogs up or a snail decides to block it you have a back up. I just drilled my 75 with beananimals silent and fail-safe aquarium overflow system. It will require 3 holes for the overflows but it is definitely worth it.
Here is his design: http://www.beananimal.com/projects/s...ow-system.aspx Here are a couple pics of my setup:
