Glass-Holes Overflow Question!

http://www.glass-holes.com/product.s...3&productId=45

Does anyone knows what size tank this overflow is good for? and what's the Gallon/hr for the largest overflow box? I am looking for an overflow system for my new 170g tank. I am wondering if Glass Hole's biggest overflow box can handle a 170g tank.

LOVE these things. I've got a smaller one on a 40B. My LFS installs them on most of the tanks they sell. I've got a friend who set up the one you're looking at on a 180, peninsula style. She's running lots of flow thru it (not sure of exact #'s) and is happy with it.

IMO, that's more then enough flow for you.

How much water are you planning on moving through your sump?

My 1500 flows at least 1200gph. I mounted it in the middle and it blends in with the black background very well. Really thin to, not nearly as obtrusive as the corner flow styles.

i got the dart overflow kit with 2x2" bulkheads - included the holesaw - I put it on my 150 - it will handle more than enough flow for your tank. Great company!

I put in a 1500 box on my 75 and its great. I wouldn't put it in the middle, just too noticeable for me. Good for a wavebox thou!
