Pickling lime or Kalk mix from the LFS are essentially the same thing as Joes Juice.

Take some Kalkwasser and mix it with RO water - use enough so it just barely dilutes. Then inject using a syringe into the base of the majano/aptasia. Many people prefer to make a paste out of it, but I can't see how that is easily applied under water.

Here is the patent for Joe's Juice. You be the judge...

http://www.google.com/patents?id=KfZ-AAAAEBAJ&dq

If you don't feel like reading through it, then here is the basic premise...
"An anemone killing mixture comprises effective amounts of calcium hydroxide and non-iodized salt dissolved into and mixed in boiling purified water."

Basically it's just calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser, pickling lime, etc.), salt, and some water. It dumbfounds me that people still actually spend their money on Joe's Juice.

I injected some aiptasia with b-ionic a few years ago, dont remember which bottle I used. It worked on the first try though. If i remember correctly half is for alk and half is calc, i'd assume i used the calc half.

Yes. I use Mrs. Wages mixed with RO water and glycerol.
