resonable evaporation

If I have a open top 20h with a 250mh over it is it resonable to have 6 cups of water evaporate in a 24h period. I can't find any leaks, but it has me a bit paranoid.

Sounds fine to me. Gives you the opportunity to add more kalk for top off.

I evaporate 2.5g+ per day on my 120.

2-3 gallons per day out of my 125g, depending on the season / humidity. Don't sweat it, as Salamander said, look at it as a good opportunity to use kalk.

1-2 cups out of a closed top 10 gallon, and 1/2 gallon out of my 50 per day. No worries

I hope it never catches on, I like having the oldest tank on here and I don't have to worry about calcification, bio pellets, Vodka dosing, DSBs, Chaetomorpha (I don't even know what that is) Carbonite hardness and all of these other things many people worry about.

If I had to think about all of that stuff I would get a stroke.
My test kit came in a wooden box and the directions say to keep in a cool chariott.
I throw some food in the tank, wave hello to the fish and go out with my wife and have a nice glass of merlot with dinner.
Have a great day but most of all, have fun.
