i just spoted my mimic tang has ich. so i looked at my uvlight and it was out! got bulb replaced but was wondering if i should leave him in with others and hope light will take it away?

if your positive its itch then really QT and treatment is the best method, it may not hurt if you leave him in a little longer to make 100% sure it is indeed itch.

if it is then all fish need moving to QT, and then the DT will eventually become clear when the itch dies out, probably 6 weeks or so, ive heard it can last 11, check out waterkeepers thread on itch at the top of the forum
