Noise from Glass-Holes Overflow!
Does the overflow from Glass-Holes.com make gulping noise when the water goes to the sump? or does that little tube helps silence the noise?

My glass-hole overflow works best when it has a straight shot down to the sump. The only elbow is the one hooked up to the overflow itself. It is very quiet. When I had more 90degree elbows on it, it made that gulping sound.
I say redo your pipework and remove anything that will slow the water flow down. Maybe 45degree elbows are okay, but flexible PVC would probably best, or if you are going to have elbows, increase the diameter of the piping. |
