GFO Reactor
I have a 90 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump. I am getting a double canister Gfo and carbon reactor because i have a slight hair algae problem. Will this help me get rid of my hair algae plus my other nuscince hair algae.

I would try the GFO for a week or 3 . If you use carbon, also do weekly water changes. I dont like the fact that carbon will suck out trace minerals but I do like that it takes out bad things too.

It will control the algae from spreading (maybe not entirely) but will help. Running GFO reactor wont make it magically disappear though, it will still take time to manually remove as much as you can and get a clean up crew in there.

Im not worried about the carbon because i do weekly water changes. As long as the gfo works it would help a ton and if it stops the spreading that would really be nice because i have it contained to one rock right now. I am taking other steps to remove it too.
