Eheim pump plumbing

Just curious how everyone running Eheims has them plumbed. I currently have mine with a 5/8" hose off the 1262 discharge then adapted via a couple barbed fittings to 3/4" up to the tank. Would like to get away from all the fittings. Anyone have a pic of there setup?

3/4" Sch 80 straight out of the pump

No pics, but that's how I hook up 1260s and 1262s -- vinyl tubing off the pump to a barb fitting on the hard plumbing. Makes a quiet pump even quieter by decoupling the vibration from the rigid PVC.
