Feeding

Typically I have been feeding my scopa, blue regal and fox face live red algae which they absolutely love. However, the cost of if is over 6 dollars a bag that lasts not even a week. Someone told me to give them nori seaweed that is used for sushi rolls which they are eating now. But someone else told me that nori releases alot of phosphates and has no nutritional value. Can someone help me?

I'm sure nori releases some phosphates into the water, but it's nothing I'd be worried about. And it is nutritional. Stay away from the stuff that's seasoned (generally it's not), and you'll be fine. It's what most people use to feed their herbivores. You can also feed them flake food for herbivores, or frozen foods with vegetable matter in them (like Rod's Food).

Current Tank Info: I have a reef screen saver on my phone, does that count?
