The only thing is the lighting is crapppppppppp

The ballast holds a 25W floresent 36" T8 bulb (just one bulb)

Its an orange type light and evertything looks orange in the tank

What should I upgrade too (on a $150ish budget)

power compacts are good for that price, but if you just want some softies and a few other corals i would go with a coralife t5 fixture the bulbs last way longer than pc and will be cheaper in the long run.

Get a t5 fixture. As much light as you can afford, and will fit over your tank. I'd say get a 4 bulb 36" fixture.

You'll likely regret going with PC's in the near future. I'd find a way to go with T-5's, even if you just retrofit a couple of tubes now and add to it when you have more to spend.
