my PH been low for about a year now and so far my fish are still alive. My PH is usually 7.8-8.0. What can happen if I keep it up?

Mine's been 7.6-7.7 ever since I started. Tried all the usual fixes -- PH buffer, lime water, using opening windows to lower CO2. Nothing worked so I gave up the battle. My corals and fish are doing just fine.

Make sure the surface of the water has good agitation for gas exchange. Run the skimmer intake line outside if possible and dont worry. Many tanks run like the Rebel's just fine.

careful with your additives. if you dose calcium and your alkalinity goes down then you start dosing to raise your alkalinity and your ph goes down. it all relates so slow and careful.
