Question fish in the over flow

hi
how can i get the fish out of the over flow?

On my corner overflows, I just pull the standpipe and put the net at the outlet in the sump.

After about the 5th time of getting my Neon Goby out, I put up gutter guard which deflects him back in the water.

Yes, fish jump into the overflow if they can get there. Gutter Guard will help that.

Wouldn't putting gutter guard on the overflow increase the chance they end up on the floor?

You can get it at Lowes. It like mesh.
