Anyone replace their Current USA Outer Orbit fixture fan?
I have just fired up my 36" Outer Orbit fixture. It has what they all a "high cfm" fan. It is a little noisy for a living room.
Anyone replace this? I've heard good things about the Vantec Stealth line of fans, but the 3" fan moves only 27cfm. I have no way to know if that is enough. Any help? Thanks, Mark |

I have a 72" over my 125 with three 150mh's. The fans are quiet and cool pretty good. (Another LSU fan)

I have the 250w remote ballasts. Those run super cool. I think the fan in the light fixture is the loudest. I was thinking of replacing it.
The noise isn't terrible, but if I could get it quieter since it is in our living room, I'd like to. Just wasn't sure if 27cfm in the light fixture is enough. bayoupr....Geaux Tigers! : ) Mark |
