lighting ?

gettin a new tank four foot 150. 30 inches deep. will t5s penitrate in that tank enough to to support a clam on the sand bed? If so any recommendation on a bulb combo right now i have mh running reeflux 14ks would like something simmilar in color.

at that depth, u are pushing it. t5s are really lose their effectiveness beyond 18-24 in deep. that deep i would go halides.

u could go t5s for the full tank and put a halide "spotlight" over the clam.

+1 on the spotlight halide if the only thing that needs that much light will be a clam...

personally i like the shimmer of the halides, reason to upgrade
