Will Snails eat this kind of Algae ?
Hey RC, well my tank is getting horrible brown algae on the rocks. The left side has it worse. Earlier I had the same problem, so I scrubbed it off with a brush. 3 months later it came back . Some spots have a mixture of red, brown, and orange in them.
Thanks , Calvin

Is it like slime like with bubbles? If so I have the same problem in some spots. I don't think that any fish eat it.

You'll want to give us a better description than just the color.
What is the shape, size, texture, growth pattern, etc..... there are LOTS of brown colored algae out there. And FWIW not many fish eat any of it, except for some of the leafy forms of brown algae (some tangs and foxfaces will chaw on it).

However, if it is diatom growth, than most of your herbivore snails will eat it.
