Phosban reactor

Has anyone ever had pods living in their phosban reactor? I think there is a bacteria living in there as well. There is a white jelly like substance along the walls and the tube. Its only been 3 months since my last phosban change.

You are going to get some gunk in the reactor a swell as pods and other organisms, bristle worms....etc. 3mths is a long time to run phosban

I thought 3 months was the normal time limit for the filter media. How often should you change the media then?
