Examples of clams mounted onto a BB tank (starboard)

I am considering a clam for my bb tank. The best place I have is on the starboard.

Does anyone have an example of how they mounted their clam onto starboard or glass? Would an aquamend 'holster' work?

You don't mount a clam. They attach themselves.
