Coralline comes in all sorts of colors. green is one of them. orange, red, purple, pink are other colors. I've read that the green will turn purple but I don't notice that in my tank.

Quote from Wikipedia (but I'm not too sure of its accuracy):

"The colors of these algae are most typically pink, or some other shade of red, and some species can be purple, yellow, blue, white or gray-green."
