Lightbulb Do You Think This Would Work?

I have a 55 gallon reef with various corals and inverts and 2 Ocellaris clowns, 1 Royal Gramma, and 2 male Pajama Cardinals. This setup is over 2 years old.

I also have a 14-gallon biocube that is completey set up and cycled but is empty.

I been thinking about it, and I know what I want to do, but i'd like a few opinions to see if you think this would work or not.

I would like to slowly move my 2 Ocellaris clowns, my bubble anemone, my zoanthids, kenya tree, and possibly my blue anthelia into my biocube, along with some snails and hermit crabs.

I would then like to take the sandsifting star, pajama cardinals and royal gramma to our lfs to get some store credit.

I would then like to put either a lionfish (antenna or dwarf) or an eel (snowflake or jeweled) or giant seahorses in the 55.

The 55 has a Marineland C-360 (brand new curtousy of Marineland thanks to some functional issues) canister filter, 2 hydor koralia 2 powerheads on a wavemaker, a 3-4" sandbed, and about 65-75lbs or so of LR. There is also a 216w T-5 fixture over the aquarium. Stats are always normal. The only issues i've ever had with this setup is with equipment.

What do you all think? Which of my 3 choices do you think would be best suited? Do you think this would all work out ok?

best suited??? the seahorses by far, if you have experience with them

a 55 gal is too small for any eel or lionfish

perhaps making it a species tank for, say, an individual frogfish or something, but I would stasy away from the very large predators, as they will tax all but they very largest of tanks and filtration systems

if you go with seahorses, make sure to have many hitching posts, live food, and not too much water flow as they do not appreciate being blown around a tank

Thx. Both species of eel and lionfish I considered stay small. Both eels would stay under 24inches. But I was leaning towards seahorses byfar. Thanks again.
