Not-so-permanent mounting of American DJ 8?

I ordered 2 American DJ 8 strips for my 29G cadlight pro system that should be here in about a week. My question is: is there something strong enough that is not so permanent as screws (perhaps velcro?) to hold these up in the stand? I do not want to comprimise the integrity of the stand in any way so I will not be mounting it with screws. Any ideas that you have used and/or know will work?

this is the strip I am referring to:

Also, where is the best place to get timers that will plug into this?

I have a couple of the and they're kinda heavy once plugged in and everything i'm not sure velcro or 2sided tape would hold it well. But I would try heavy duty velcro and use zipties for the cables to keep the weight off the velcro.

I doubt a couple screws will comprimise the integrity of the stand. you could also use very small nails and use them to hang the DJ strips since they're a lot smaller than screws and wouldn't affect the integrity

Cool beans. Thanks for the reply. I guess I will try those small picture hanging nails, unless someone else has a better idea

I have been very impressed with the 3M brand double sided tape.

you could try some of that tape they use in nascar to hhold fenders together after a wreck at 200 miles an hour, that stuff is tough. but seriously i have the strips and once you have cords in them and start to pull cords in and out dont know how well the velcro will hold up.

This is what I ended up doing. I didn't know that the 39G pro series from cadlight had a shelf in the cabinet! I used velcro tape to secure the bottom rack to the shelf, then velcro-taped the one on top to the one on the bottom:
