Sea Hare diet

Beside hair algie and possibly nori what else will sea hare eat? Will they eat other types of algie? If they have insignificant amount of food , will you see them shrink in sizes?

I've had them clear my tank of Dictyota. Thank God!! That stuff is nasty! As their food source disapears, they will waste away, so be prepared to return it to the store or sell or give it away to someone who needs help with algae.

I just took mine back to the LFS cause he wouldnt touch my bryopsis. Besided bryopsis, I have very little algae so he would have starved quickly

Dsmooth, do you mean real lettuce, such as iceburg or romain? I like my sea hare, and would love to keep him after my algae is gone (won't be long as he is HUNGRY and FAST!).
