Cleaning Oceanic Tank

Hey Guys,

Just got done cleaning for the night, all but the inside overflow on a Oceanic 75RR tank. Any ideas on the best way the clean this thing?

I'm not talking about the outside. I am talking about the inside 1/2''-1'' space between the overflow teeth, which is the outside of the overflow and then the space from the where the water travels from the lower teeth up and over the overflow... Get all that.

It might be confusing as heck for non Oceanic tank users....

The tank I got was used for a few years and needed a thorough cleaning to say the least.

The girlfriend has my camera, but I will post up a picture of what I am trying to explain.

Thanks

I think that the standard response it to fill it with a vinegar and water mix and let it sit. I'm sure someone else will chime in here though. Sounds like to get those areas wet with vinegar will require the system to be running.

Yeah, I don't have enough room right now to fill it and let things soak. Need to do it outside. I have cleaned the glass with a razor blade and scrubbed it down. Maybe a long brush would work at this point...
