Lr

when buying LR from a hobbyist vs a LFS, should you do anything to the LR before adding it to your tank?

Hi Lee,

If the LR came from a disease free tank then it is fine to use right away. If in doubt, let it sit in some SW this coming month and add it to the display in October. You may want to do water changes using display tank water if you do the isolation routine. It is not truly needed but it does keep the rock healthier.

They're brittle stars. Good scavengers. When they get really big they can sometimes become a problem but the small ones are good to have around.
