Powerhead Positioning....

I am starting to put together my 75 gallon tank wand would like some advice as to where to locate my powerheads.

The return pump is a Mag 12 which is split and fed to each top corner of the tank. I have a 36" overflow box centered on the top back of the tank.

As it stands, I have 3 Koralia 3's. I was thinking of hiding them behind the lve rock on the back wall. Any advice on how to configurate these powerheads? Trying to avoid the dead spots. I also have a controller which could have these on timers in order to randomize the flow.

Any help would be great.

Its hard to tell someone how to position them. You just have to play with it until you get it just right.

I recommend one on each end of the tank (aimed towards each other)...but maybe offset the depth by 4-6 inches. And then have one in the middle slanted towards which ever side of the tank has more dead spots. Keeps my junk movin!
