Sump Cover?

My sump area under my tank is really humid...water dripping down the inside of the stand. Should I put a cover on the sump? or ventilate the area better?

put a fan blowing into the stand through a hole in the side of the stand

How is the water entering the sump.? Is it falling in ,or is the tank drain submerged.? Submerged will reduce a lot of the extra evaporation.
