Lighting T5 as hqi of 20000?

I would like t5 with the same effect would the 400 watts from 20000 Kalvin ..
How could I mix the neon?
In total I have 16 from 80 watts ... I could do 6 white 6 blue 2 Procolor 2 Actinic?
Or all blue?
Help me?

I'm not sure that I (or others) understand your questions. Are you asking what combo of T5's would be equivalent to 400W metal halides @ 20k?

I'm not sure I have have the answer but want to clarify the question. I do have both MH and T5 setup on my tanks. I think that I can confidently say you will probably not get the PAR from any T5 setup that you would get from a 400W MH setup.

If you elaborate, you may get some others to respond.

Thx
