sps and t5....how long do you keep your lights on for??
Hi,
Im working on a mostly dominate sps tank..So for those of you sps experts out there,how long do you keep your lights on for,if you could break it down for me that would be good to,currently im running my attinics for 2hrs then the mains for 7,then back to attinics for another 2,Is this enough for sps or to little,What do you others use for your sps tanks..Oh, and my tank is a 220 with 12 mixed ati bulbs..Thanks Last edited by hatemeyet; 09/06/2009 at 06:25 PM. |

I run my 6x39w NEP fixture for 12hr total. The two actinics are on for 12 hours and then the 4 other bulbs, which are daylights, are on for 6 in the middle of the actinics.
I would say for sps that 10-12 is a good target overall time. JMO. Brad |

I agree. With T5's I would do Actinics for 2 hours (morning) 10 hours with everything and then the last 2 hours actinics again (evening).
