overdriving 36" T5

can I put a 54w ballast on a 36"? What will happen?

it may make the tube heaps brighter, with a much shorter life.
it may kill the tube at switch on.
it may burn down your house.

i know i can overdrive with an IceCap 660 but what is the difference in iver driving with a 54w ballast?

other than controlling 2 lights at a time for timing purposes

I could be wrong, but I do not think that a bugger ballast would overdrive the bulbs.
