Angelfish in a 60 Reef opinions please

We're looking for another fish or two to add to the tank since we have upgraded from the 29 to the 60 (+15 or so gal in the sump/fuge).

Current stocking:

2 False Perc's
1 Spotted Mandarin

A bit of LPS & some softies. Nothing overwhelming. Will likely add a clam too pretty soon.

We are considering a fish that's a little bigger since the new tank is bigger. The Angels are really fascinating and seem to be about the perfect size, but we want to do what is going to make sense.

I don't want a fish that's going to survive off of eating our corals, and don't want anything that will decimate the pod population which we have for the mandarin.

Any suggestions on the Angel, or any other fish for that matter which we could add?

Thanks.

I would stick with dwarf angels (centropyge); pygmy/cherub, potters, flameback, flame, rusty...

I don't believe any of the angels are completely reef safe. You'd have better luck with the pygmies, but even those are probably 50/50.

Thanks. Still searching. It's an odd balance on what will work and what we might want in the tank. Surprisingly more difficult than I thought it would be.

FWIW, of all the fish I've ever tried to keep the dwarf angels have been the most difficult. I have a very mature tank and keep SPS. I acclimate but I've never been able to keep these very long. I've heard the shipping is pretty rough on these guys.

i have a african flameback in my 60 cube - he (or she) is one of my favorite fish, and even though he is at max size (i've had it for 3 or 4 years now) it is only about 2" long. great fish, but can be a little nippy to newcomers for a day or two

Does your Lamarck get along with the other angels? I was thinking about picking one up from saltwaterfish.com but they claim it wont co-exist with any other angels and I'd def wanna get a Bellus at some point.

Saltwaterfish.com says that about EVERY angelfish! Not only does my Lamack get along with bellus, but I swear, I now have the Blue-est lamarck, I've ever seen. Many (non-reef) people have asked, if they are a M/F pair.

I saw the Bellus yesterday for the first time (online) and it's moved WAY up the list. That is one beautiful fish & seems pretty reef safe from what I've read on multiple sites.

I found some GREAT Angel information here:
http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/oct2003/Fish.htm

Not sure how accurate it is, but it's another source for me to consider for sure...
