Cyano Outbreak water paras R fine????

I think I am getting a Cyano out break but water parameter are perfect. The tank is 9-10 months old. I have 75 gallon with 80-90LR. Sump and protein skimmer. I have two Koralia 3 and 1 Koralia 2 and Catalina 1800 for powerheads. I have some serious flow going in this thing. I even took my water to the LFS and compared theres with mine and everything is perfect.
Ph 8.4
Nitrate 5ppm
nitrite 0ppm
ammonia 0ppm
gravity 1.025

I do weekly water changes of 5 -10 gallons and constantly syphon the sand.

I only have 5 fish at the moment too.

1 lemonpeel angel
1 lawnmower blenny
2 true percula clowns
1 six line wrasse
1 long spine urchin
1 skunk shrimp
1 coral banded shrimp
assortmentof snail and hermit crabs
1 colony of button polyps

The only thing I've done new lately is add a T5 system and that was over a month ago.

ANY IDEAS????HELP???

Syphoning the sand may be exacerbating the problem. There is a lot of of gas in the sand you don't want to stir up. Adding stronger lighting may have also kicked it into gear.

Stop syphoning the sand when you do your water changes, and turn back the lights. With what you have in your tank, it should be ok to have very little light for a while.

+1 on phosphates. Get a reactor with some GFO.

I think your flow is just fine.

Is the cyano concentrated in a certain area, or pretty spread out?

The misspelled form of Cyano which is shorthand for Cyanobacteria. Cyano is a type of photosynthetic bacteria which often grows on the sand or rocks when there is excess nutrients. It looks like a layer of red slime when growing on the sand.
