rimless tank
im setting up a new custom 82g rimless tank.... the guy who sold it to me assured me it would be fine but i dont wanna end up with 82g of saltwater in my livingroom! the tank is 3/8" 48x22x18h ... it definitly looks a hell of alot better like this but what do you think? should i eurobrace it?
btw its the tank on the left...tank on right is going to be the sump ![]()

with it only being 18" deep and with a water depth of probably between 16-17" you will probably get away with it, personally I would like a better guarantee and would feel alot better with that braced, euro bracing is almost as nice as the rimless look anyway. I would feel safer if the glass was 1/2".

I would euro brace it just to play it safe. If it was 1/2" I wouldn't even have worried about it.
