need advice on an additional fish that I would like to add to my tank
I have a 46 gallon bow front.
I have approximately 50lb of live rock and quite a few soft corals. At the moment the only fish I have in the tank are: • 1 medium size maroon clown who barely ever leaves his anemone. • 1 Bullet Gobie • 1 Small Scopes Brown Tang I would like to add: • 1 Citron Clown Gobie I am most worried that the Clown Gobie and the Bullet Gobie may not get along. Any advice would be very helpful Thank you in advance |

I will be honest with you and not telling you what to do by any means but I would get the tang out of the tankas it will eventualy be to small for him.
Now for your question they will be fine together but with the clown goby if you have sps they can cause some problems.

I bought a yellow clown goby and it died. I don't think it ever ate much. These guys can be tricky to adjust to tank life, I think.

I would completely agree with you with almost any tang, Chitownclown.
Bur from my experience with brown scopes tangs, they do not get very large in an aquarium. I have had this one almost a year and he is still less than 3 inches in length. If for some reason he does exceed 3 inches I will make sure that he gets a good home. |
