Adding Magnificant Rabbitfish

In a couple of days i going to be taking my Magnificant Rabbitfish
(Siganus magnifica) out of the Q.T tank. Problem is now im thinking the purple tang most of all is not going to like it one bit. I dont know about the H.Tusk. They have been in my tank for almost 8 months now. Someone told me just to take the purple tang and h.tusk out. put in the mag. rabbit fish move some rock work around and re put the h.tusk first then the tang. Thing is thats easy to say but its going to be a "B" to move the live rock around and probly drive me insane trying to take the tang n tusk out. Any other way. Thanks...

i think youll just have to put the rabbitfish in and see how it goes. if hes being bothered you can always take him out after. is he bigger than the tang?

No, he is smaller then the tang, 3inch. Thats the point of this thread. If there anything i can do with out moving anything. If the tang starts or anything i can do before. I have alot of live rock allready place perfectly on how i want it, hahaha dn just catching them out is going to be a headache.

When in doubt, after aclimating I put the fish in a breeder net with a 2" PVC pipe at the bottom so that he/she can hide and get completely accustomed to tank water. Then I wait until it is late in night, turn out moonlights, and add to tank. I have had pretty good luck w/ this: have 2 sets of clowns and 3 tangs. 2 cents.

Hang a mirror by the tank for the tang to fight with... they hate themselves more than they hate others.
