What to do with a Aquaclear filter

does anyone know what i should do with my aquaclear 70. Put live rock in it? any ideas?

Or if you have a sump, you can use it to run carbon

i have a 55 and i don't have a sump but i found a good diy on this site just look up converting aquaclear filter to fuge on google. its really good
