securing nori for agressive eaters

I'm hoping someone has a creative idea for how to secure nori sheets for violently agressive eaters. My foxface is a CRAZY eater, and violently rips and tears at the nori. Between him & 3 hungry tangs, it's not uncommon for me to have to re-attach the clip to the glass 4 or 5 times per feeding.

I currently use a clip because it's easier to 'reset', but have tried attaching the nori to a rock on the bottom of the tank as well. He generally tears the entire piece of nori off the rock and it ends up floating around the tank. I do soak it before putting in the tank, to help it tear a little easier.

How do you feed your agressive eaters???

I have never had my tangs rip the suction clip off, but what I do is use small sheets (maybe 2-3 inches buy 4-5 inches.) rolled up into a tight tube. That way they can only get small bites.

I gave up in that battle. Now I cut the nori into little confetti like pieces, soak it and then drop it in. Everyone seems to get enough that way.

I made a simple PVC setup with two elbows and pipe made into the shape of a J to hang from the middle brace of the tank turned upside down. Then just wrap a piece around the PVC and put three rubberbands around it and suspsend it in the tank. Works well for me.

I use a couple of magnets from an old powerhead mount. It works great.
