Question [Help] Flickering (when dim) Solaris LED Strip - confirm remedy?

Howdy,

I have a Solaris I4 that has an LED strip that is flickering the white LEDs when in lunar mode with 0% whites active (10% blue). When the white LEDs are running normally in the day, the flickering disappears (or isn't noticeable).

I have a collection of replacement strips and an entire H-series unit that I can use for parts, but I'd like to have some confirmation that the strip itself is the problem? It would seem to me that if LEDs that aren't even supposed to be *on* are flickering, the problem might not be the strip itself.

It's going to be a royal pain to replace the strip (the lights are mounted on light trees with concealed wiring), so before I anything, I'd like to know I'm doing the *right* thing

Thanks,
John

Could be the PS telling you that it is about to go south. I hadthe same problem. Switch the to another band and see if it replicates the problem. If so check out these two threads to g et yourself back up and running quickly:

I and others have replaced ours for a fraction of what they are being sold for. I picked up another PS from Microcenter.com for $39.99 that I am going to swap out using the above post.
