Sunpower on rimless tank

So I have a bit of a dilema. I really want and like the looks of a rimless tank but my tank is in the livingroom and my wife will not let me hang a ati sunpower. I would just put it in my current canopy but that would defeat the purpose of having a rimless tank. Any ideas?

Does anyone have their ati fixture just sitting on top of a rimless tank?

lol...

what about a fixture that hangs off a stand. here is a pic of what i mean. this is an ikea light and will oviously not work but. maybe mod a base. MH lights are just wire between the ballast and the bulb and reflector. get a reflector that you can attach and run the wire up the lamp base

Ha! I have already considered that but I think it would be a little easier to find a way to make what I want to work happen.

Do you guys think that it would look rediculous just sitting the ATI fixture directly on the tank?

use conduet tubing bent to hang the fixture from. have two arms coming up the back and bent over the tank. paint them black to blend in and now it hangs above your tank and no holes in house. there are some threads on hear of people doing this and it looks really great. and cheap too.
