its worth a try. keep the sps up higher in the tank they will need it. but why not 250w hqi de fixtures? why just t-5? i have two 250w de bulbs over my 120g tank. i like t-5 over shallower tanks. i use 4x t-5 over by 30g zoa/paly tank and love the look and colors.
