Show us your tank(what skimmer are you using) :)

How about we all post a pic of our tank, then explain what skimmer we use and why, and if you want, how much you paid for it. Seems to be a huge debate over whether or not you need to spend thousand/thousands of dollars on skimmers to have a nice reef. I do think however, that before anyone is bashed for spending lots of money or not spending lots of money, why don't we just see their results, and have an open discussion about it. If you do not run a skimmer, lets see yours too...

I will begin. 70 gallon Cube running I-Tech 100 local built cone skimmer that I paid $540 for. I run a sps dominated tank.

Very Nice kylebeano!
Very mature looking reef, proves that there are certainly several ways to skin a cat, as far as skimmers go... I like the look...

Heres my 180 with a NW200 w/Sicce pump, paid $220 SHIPPED from Marine Solutions. I have to clean the skimmer every 3-6 days depending on how much i feed. Im not the best photographer. Tank has been awake for about 1 hour, the aussie wall hammer in the middle will get about double that size.

Nice guys...
Cannot debate the appearance of a beautiful tank, that is why I started this thread, it boils down to alot more than a skimmer. Your approach to running your tank is far more important, IMO. In my case, I feed very heavy, and have 10 fish in a 70 gallon tank, so I need a powerful skimmer=yes, but not an expensive one With that said, I would have spent alot more $ on my skimmer, had I went with a NAME BRAND...
