metal halide bulbs

I have a really dumb question. How do you remove a double ended 250 watt metal halide bulb? Do you just pull them on out from each end? I don't want to break the bulb they are expensive.

Yep. Pull from the ends, not the middle

Pull each end up at the same time. I generally position the finger near my thumb on each hand under the bulb near the socket, the lift up at the same time. That is the key.

Don't pull one end up, then the other, that usually breaks the bulb and voids warranties.
