Lets see everyones 40g tank
40 is to big for the nano section and most of the threads in here seem to be 200g an up.
I'd like to see some 40 tank pictures. |

Mine is actually a 40 breeder which is really 50 gal. A real 40 is 13 inches tall. I like them because you get the 18 inch depth, and they don't take up a lot of floor space.

Ok, I thought this section was for anything besides a nano.
I'm looking at the 40 breeders. |

There are 40 breeders from time to time in the nano section, too.

Dotz, what do you mean when you say a 40 breeder is really 50 gallons? YammieGuy...I'll try to get a picture of my 40 for this thread, but I'm a terrible photographer.

Well, here's mine.....an older picture but you get the jist......
![]() Then I had an idea that some storage might be good, a plain shelf apparently wouldn't suffice.....I had to have a door......(sigh) ![]() I then had the best idea ever......I'll give this tank to the wife...... :-) Really helps when the FedEx man shows up and the bank statement too...... I have since got a proper sump going with an ER skimmer...... |

Tagging along with this because I am thinking about "upgrading" from a 55 to either a 40 breeder or a 75.
