Where can I have a custom sump made???

I want to have a custom sump made, but I really don't know where to go. I tried oceanreeflections.com, but the company that makes their custom tanks and sumps won't do it at this time. So, where is the best place to go that is not overpriced. I live in the L.A. area, so if anyone knows of somewhere local that would be great as well. Thanks!

Try to join your local club and check with there members. I am a member of WAMAS (DC) and we have a couple guys that are great. Most clubs have them. Check the vendor section.

Check out my build thread:

I drew it up and gave the print to a plastic/acrylic shop and had them make it for me, any big city should have someone. I just searched the yellow pages for plastic distributors.

Have you thought about getting a glass tank and silconing baffles where you need them?

+1

It's a simple project and you can build it the way you want it. You will also save a small fortune. It can be done with an Acrylic tank too.

This is an easy project. I assumed you needed a custom size for fitment. If a standard tank size will fit were you need it this is a great option and way cheaper. Check out LimpetsReef on youtube. There is a 2 part video on how to make a sump, good info. Also always check out Melves website for lots of good info on sumps.
