JBJ nano light isn't working...new PC bulbs

Hi,
I purchased a used nano JBJ DX 12 gallon tank. I was told the PC lights are old and need to be replaced, so I purchased a pair of coralife 24 watt straight pin bulbs.
I replaced the orginal bulbs, they worked fine for a few days and then stopped working. I have no clue why they are not working. The fans are turning on, so does that me that the ballast is okay? can it be that I fused both bulbs at the same time. How can I tell its the bulb and not the ballast? Any suggestions?

not a 100% sure but i think that doesn't mean the light ballast itself is ok.

have you double checked your connections?
