Whole tank treatment?
Is there a way to treat the whole tank for vermitid snails and/or hydroids? I have both in my tank and I really don't want to break my tank down to get rid of them. I have already kalk pasted the hydroids that I can easily get to and broken/crushed the tubes of the vermitids. There ase just some that I can not get to without literally breaking apart my corals to get my rocks out! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Dave

how bad is it? if it were me i would not take whole tank down to crush a few vermitid snails and some hydroids. However if there are alot, and it is affecting corals i would say you dont really have any options besides taking out rock and removing hydroids manually. the snails can be easily superglued to kill them, but i find with hydroids they are tuff as nails and the only way to get them out is to remove rock from tank and chilse away the infected part.

Yeah its getting pretty bad. I never thought about the superglue for the snails. I will give that a shot, as for the hydroids I will just kalk paste them if they get to be a problem. Thank you.
