It depends on what you are trying to do? You are leaving the question a little open ended. I run a nova fixture and like it a lot. I would recommend changing out the bulbs to something a little more high end, like ati or giesemann.

I have been looking at this light also, I would like to see some tank pics with sps in them that are running this fixture especially a 48" six bulb one.The price makes it attractive unless it will only last a yr or two then not so much.

I have mine over a 55 gallon sps dominant tank and I love it. great color and growth. like potterjon said, switch out the bulbs immedietly to ati or uvl. the can be ran in a canopy as long as you are willing to cut ventilation holes in each end for the fans in the fixture to work properly.

I've got the eight bulb version....

Change bulbs
allow for the venting

Don't expect much out of the "moon lights"

So if i change the bulbs they have to be the same wattage as the fixture right?

I had one and loved it. Would not recommend putting it in a canopy though. There are fans on both ends for ventilation that you do not want to block. And yes the ne bulbs should be the same wattage.
